What Happens When No One Votes to Pay Taxes?

The NY Times describes what happens in the rural Northwest, when natural resources dwindle and government no longer lives off  “free” money  from the private use of public lands.  Combine this with the Trump era tax resistance movement and influx  of empty nester retirees who come for the low housing prices and taxes, and soon libraries, schools, and even jails shut down.
