David Speaks Out About The Mayor
Should we care about ex-mayor Murray’s feelings? Should we hedge our denunciations of his character because he’s “still innocent”?
.
–No. This guy’s not a victim; he’s a politician. And he knows the score.
.
Consider: Here’s a guy who, for the last four years, has tried to set himself up as some kind of moral paragon: shaming Christians who refused celebrate his gay lifestyle, lashing out at other states for not letting men into women’s bathrooms. Meanwhile, Seattle was going down the tubes. Girls were trafficked and raped in filthy jungle camps just blocks away from City Hall.
.
And now this moral train wreck of a man stands himself accused – and CREDIBLY accused – of the vilest crime we can imagine: child rape.
.
Considering how he acted toward others, I can’t muster even a speck of sympathy. But I can offer a deal. And here’s what I propose: If Murray does the right thing and steps down now, I’ll forget that he ever existed. But if he persists in the lie that he’s a good leader (or a good person) then I’ll throw everything I’ve got at him.
.
And you never know, I might have something he hasn’t even thought of.
