Upset by Trump’s ad hoc foreign “policy?”
Meet someone who is not just an expert but a leader in standing up for the rights of the Muslims and Arabs. Before the November election, Moh was planning to take ajob with the Clinton State Department.
Next Monday, April 17th, DL-Fremont’s feature guest is Moh Kilani, Moh is an Iraqui immigrant and recent graduate of the the UW Jackson School.
A few weeks ago Moh and I met. I asked him if he still has family in Iraq. He does … in Mosul under ISIS. It is hard to imagine what their lives must be like.
Meeting Moh is a great example of why Drinking Liberally is important. We bring different people together. Agree with ech other or not, learning from an activist in the midst of the issues, especially over beer, is an opportunity we all can treasure.
LEARN THE ISSUES, MEET OTHERS AND ORGANIZE AT Drinking Liberally.
DL-Fremont is a Seattle chapter of this Drinking Liberally. DL is a non-partisan organization. Across the US, DL chapters provide places for liberal/progressive leaning public policy and politics junkies and activists to gather and talk politics in a manner not generally available or appropriate at the office or family gatherings.
Think of DL Fremont as group therapy for the Trump presidency.
Hotel Hotel Pizza Bar, soon to be renamed the Fremont Tavern, features gourmet brick oven pizza, a full bar, and 14 taps showcasing local craft beers.
