FINALLY! FCC enforces privacy rights.
The rules, passed in a 3-2 vote by the Federal Communications Commission, require Internet providers, such as Comcast and Verizon, to obtain their customers’ explicit consent before using or sharing that behavioral data with third parties, such as marketing firms.
I believe we need to go much further. Adverse possession of someone else’s US mail is already a felony. The same should be true of possession of email or hacked data. We also need laws to criminalize employers access to employee emails. If your employer allows use of your address for private communication, and adverse possession should be felony.
