(Ken Waltzer from FACEBOOK) Congresswoman Claire Booth Luce interviewed while visiting Buchenwald was “an emaciated 6 1/2 year old boy,” who she thought had been picked up in Paris after curfew and who had been at Buchenwald for a considerable time. The pictures below are of that boy, 7, who appeared in such scenes with French prisoners, but who has never been identified. French photographer Eric Schwab, photographing for Agence France-Presse (AFP), who accompanied
novelist Meyer Levin to Buchenwald, took the pictures. In the pic on the right, that is Julian Cain (left) the former director of the French National Library and until 1940 cultural advisor to Leon Blum….
I would love to know who this boy was….
