In 2005, Donald Trump considered doing a version of his ‘Apprentice’ reality show that would have pitted whites against blacks, according to ABC News, which sourced the story from Buzzfeed, who cites an audio recording of a Trump interview with Howard Stern. Read this story here.
Trump, who has refused to repudiate KKK Grand Wizard David Duke, and whose father had some sort of ill-defined association with the KKK, asked Stern if he liked the concept. When a Stern co-host suggested it might start riots, and Stern argued it could start a race war, Trump responded that “it would be the highest rated show on television.” Trump also thought all the whites should be blondes. For more examples of Trump’s racism, see this Huffington Post story here.
Meanwhile, CNN, citing polling data, warns the November election pitting Trump against probable Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton could be a “nail-biter.” Read that story here. Which makes you wonder about the sanity of half the voting public.
