Kansas Republicans believe gun shops deserve civil rights and gay people don’t. A GOP legislator in that state has introduced a bill that would make it illegal to discriminate against gun shops (i.e., businesses could not refuse to sell them goods or services). But the GOP-controlled Kansas legislature refuses to outlaw discrimination against gay people in employment and housing. Read story here.
