Jewish refugees, approaching allied soldiers, become aware that they have just been liberated, April, 1945. They were disarmed by Hitler, herded into trains, and taken to death camps on trains, by the millions. This photo of Jews being liberated from the train that was transporting them to their death brings tears to me.
