In Seattle’s last chance of keeping an African American on the City Council, District 2, incumbent Seattle City Council member Bruce Harrell holds a lead of just 401 votes over challenger Tammy Morales.
The vote totals: 11,125 votes for Braddock, or 49.99 percent, to 11,030 or 49.57 percent for Herbold. 
Meanwhile, in District 1, Shannon Braddock now leads over opponent Lisa Herbold by a bare 95 votes.
