Boehner’s resignation may be the break we have all needed. I do not think 
the term “conservative” makes any sense as applied o the current Repugnant party. Going back in history, the GOP is not rooted in the Federalists of Hamilton, the Lincoln Republicans, or in Taft, Eisenhower, or even Nixon. It is closest to the Jackson Dems who led us to the Know Nothings and the Civil War.
Why couldn’t the Kochs, Jeff Bezos, Steve Balmer, Goldman Sachs, and other business oriented traditionalists unite behind a leader able to break up the GOP?
