Washington State needs a drug cost transparency bill too. We need to move away from a cost based on ‘whatever the market will bear’ to costs negotiated by States with companies. The annual profit margins of Pharmaceutical Companies historically are some of the highest among corporations.
Pharmaceutical cost transparency bills have been introduced in at least six states in the last year, aiming to make drug makers justify their prices.
