I fully support the right of association and therefore marriage and, BUT I believe the govt ought to just issues “pairing” licences to anyone who wants one. I think equating homosexual marriage with heterosexaul marriage should be a decision for religions, NOT the state.
I especially worry abut the effect of the SCOTUS decision on the need for rebuilding traditional Black family structure.
The Court left an easy option for the states .. get out of the marriage business! Let churches or other sort sof ethical, moral or whatever groups issue marriages.
