But some less articulate and wise partisans are beside themselves. For example, GOP presidential candidate and erstwhile Baptist preacher Mike Huckabee:
“The only outcome worse than this flawed, failed decision would be for the President and Congress, two co-equal branches of government, to surrender [to] this out-of-control act of unconstitutional, judicial tyranny. … If accepted by Congress and this President, this decision will be a serious blow to religious liberty, which is the heart of the First Amendment.”
What does he mean, if? Of course it’ll be accepted by Congress and the President, not to mention state governors and legislatures. Agree or disagree, they have no choice. It’s the law of the land.
