The world is Sick and tired of the ongoing fighting between Israel and Palestine, it is safe to say that the world wants peace between the two. 135 nations recognize Palestine as a state, the UN granted Palestine with observer-state status in 2012. The recent news that the Vatican now recognizes Palestine as a state, leaves Israel in somewhat of an international isolation on this particular matter.
Netanyahu’s blatant disrespect towards Israel’s most powerful ally, the
US, and his unwillingness to negotiate terms with Palestine are among the reasons why the US should not continue to veto international support for a Palestinian state.
