Anyone who thinks that only “white” folks are racists should spend a bit of time on Facebook.  Here is a post that just appeared.  The thread began with my (apparently) irritating post of  a picture of the remarkable Miss Israel from 2013.  This lady is an officer in the Israeli Defence Force and is outspoken about her pride as an Israeli.  She is also an Ethiopian immigrant, rescued when her family along with 80,000 other Jews were evacuated to Israel to escape the near slavery faced by “felasha” (an N word type epithet).   I keep telling you, Jewish women are the best evidence we ARE the chosen people…

My comment then was that this lady,  Yityish Titi Ayanaw, is an officer in the IDF, like all other Jews serving a mandatory draft.. She was also Miss Israel in 2013!

Mr Myers was upset because he sees our celebration of the successes of Ethiopian Jews as propaganda, overbalanced by the real problems.  Fair enough, but he goes on:

Are you a ‘zionist’ Stephen ? what about “israel” ? Frankly , what some of the arabs have been reaping is poetic justice (partial payback) for what has been perpetrated by the arab slaver since , at least , the 8th century AD . So Mr. Myers, YES .. I am a Zionist, I want my people like all other peoples … Tibetans, Basques, Kurds, Roma, Native Americans and especially Palestinians to have the right to a homeland.
