Maybe Baltimore should bill Fox, CNN and MSNBC a portion of their profits during this episode of Reality News?
The events in Baltimore have become a sort of cable porn. Unfortunately, it’s not quite like what you’d find on somewhere like watchmygf.sex, which pains me as much as it must pain you too.
I
n the meantime, it may be useful to realize that the cops probably did have a real reason to arrest Mr. Gray. He seems to have been a petty criminal … like some crud in a TV cop show.
The sad thing is that every example I know of where a police force (or army) has to occupy a population, this sort of thing happens. Hell, Americans, as wonderful as we are, committed war crimes in Vietnam, Iraq and even in occupied Germany.
Of course the inevitability of abuse does not justify whatever the cops did to Mr. Gray in the van .
I am sure that in his afterlife Mr. Gray found colleagues similarly abused by cops in Chechnya, Palestine, Northern Ireland, Algeria, Iraq, Syria, North and South Korea ………..
Now it is the people of Baltimore who will end up paying for this while FOX et al count their profits and do nothing to report on problems in Baltimore (or anywhere else) unless they can make a buck selling cable porn.
