This is exactly what Netanyahu wants: that his speech to be before the negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program have concluded and before elections in Israel are complete and a new government is formed. Otherwise why to speak at all? Obama has to stopped and not to allow an atomic bomb to Iran; Netanyahu wants to gain some points with his voters and his donors. To re-issue an invitation to speak will not support the peace for Israel same as this invitation will not destroy the peace for Israel…

I think there are different issues here.
I think Netanyahu is either utterly lost in a personal pursuit of messianic glory or carried away n rthe shoulders of short term glory. Nothing he is doing seems consistent with the long term survival of Israel.
I also think Obama is firmly committed to that survival but he is also a very realistic person. From what I read the only way to prevent Iran from having the ability to go nuclear is out and out war. Obviously the US, and maybe Israel, can bomb Iran into something like Germany at the end of WWII … but neither of us have the manpower to invade and control what would be left. .
So the best answer is not all that good but has to be built on Israel solving the Palestinian problem .. something Netanyahu seems firmly opposed ot making worse. Even more worrying for Israel, Netanyahu is undermining the support in France and US for Israel. ..
