I didn’t expect to live long enough to see a state medical board take action against a doctor’s license, but it’s finally happened. Mississippi’s medical board has scheduled a hearing this week to consider yanking Dr. Carroll Landrum’s license because they don’t like the fact he’s practicing medicine and writing prescriptions out of his car. Dr. Landrum, 88, takes care of people too poor to go to a hospital or clinic.
