THE INTERVIEW
Went to the tiny Ark Lodge theater last night down on Rainier. Think this may have been the Ark’s biggest ever crowd, the theater crew was unctuous..saying how glad we came!
I went with a new friend, Davis Preston. I think David is more adult than I, he seemed to find it unfunny. I (and the audience) thought it was hilarious . Not serious funny but slapstick funny … locker room, gay jokes, guy funny. Politically incorrect if you are gay, female, Jewish, Black, or a North Korean dictator!
James Franco was great .. playing himself in a Ron Burgundy role .. pompous ass news caster. My fave though was the Korean guy (I think his name is Jon Park) who played Kim Jun Un. Hilarious, straight faced, pompous little kid. a dictator scared of his dead father.
The audience had a great time and the theater is cool too. We will be back!
