Boeing, Ford, and Chevron Pay Their CEOs More Than The Pay Taxes to Uncle Sam

“Boeing, Ford and Chevron are among 29 U.S. companies whose chief executives were compensated more last year than their corporations paid in federal income taxes,” the Seattle Times reported tonight.

But Republicans tell us corporations are overtaxed, and want to cut corporate taxes even more, even though the corporate share of federal revenues is at its lowest level in 60 years.

Think that’s outrageous? We’re now going to have a Republican Congress because not enough Democrats voted this month. If you’re one who didn’t, well, all I can say is if you don’t vote, you don’t matter.
