As we are about to welcome a dog with 80% wolf genes as our new pet, I read this on Facebook.
4 years ago I was sitting in my arm chair reading in the front room by the plate glass picture window. I looked up an there they were just feet away .. It was startling .. then I realized that the end roll out glass was open .. and the only thing between me and them was screen wire .. I was terrified they would smell food in the kitchen and come through the screen .. I crept over and rolled it in quickly .. my heart was pounding. they were twice the size of this and silver .. may have been wolves. huge ones.
