Happy Confederate Memorial Day ..
in the state where two weeks ago the white Republican leadership of the SC government refused to honor its own son, a descendent of a Confederate soldiers, who wrote the first court decision integrating this state and where the same state appointed a man whose only qualification is play acting as a Confederate general to become the next president of the College of Charleston.
The Civil War was a mistake. Lincoln should’ve let them go. Would’ve saved a lot of trouble 150 years later. These people really need their own country, as they don’t seem to want to live in ours.
