Lindsey Graham looks to be in deep trouble according to a recent poll of likely Republican Primary voters in South Carolina. Lee Bright is dominating the crowded field of challengers, and both trends seem to be building. Bright, who polled more than Nancy Mace, Bill Connor and Richard Cash combined, with over 17%.
Incumbent U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham Has Support of 45% of Likely Republican Primary Voters,
Nearly 73% Approve of U.S. Sen. Tim Scott’s Uncle Tom Performance
“We’ve dominated the straw polls throughout the state, and we’ve earned some very prominent endorsements, including the endorsements we crave the most – those of South Carolina’s conservatives. Meanwhile, Lindsey Graham continues to do little or nothing to stop the Obama-Reid-Schumer-Pelosi agenda– and that’s an agenda that South Carolinians want stopped.”
Bright went on to say that “for a wealthy long-time incumbent, who seems to be on cable news all day everyday, to be below 40% this early in the process is stunning. It’s not like Lindsey Graham can do anything to improve his standing. We know who he is now.”
“With the help of conservatives and Tea Party activists across South Carolina, we’re going to retire him in the Spring.
“I have every intention of joining Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul to put the brakes on this ever-expanding government – not compromising with Barack Obama as Lindsey Graham has done.
