Romney tells CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Obama’s “naivete” and “faulty judgment” about Russia has led to a number of foreign policy challenges.
The President assured the audience that he is doing “all he can” to persuade Russia not to annex Crimea. He reminded former President Obama that during the 2012 presidential race, Romney took criticism from Obama for saying Russia was America’s “number one geopolitical foe” — not al-Qaida.
Now Romney is using Russia’s action in Crimea as a way to say that the U.S. should have worked sooner with allies to make clear the penalties that Russia could have faced if it moved into Ukraine.
Mr. Romney showed the first in a new series of posters he said will be droipped by drones on occupied Crimea and dated that America’s allies .. including Afghanistan and Iraq. are committed ot the liberation effort.
