Genesis 6:1-4
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

To “Liberal Scientist”
The only things you know I write, are posts here. These you should believe, but that choice I leave to you.
The only truths that exist are those that lie behind what science finds. All else you must judge.
That said, nothing in the Torah is like what I write here. Nowhere does it say that >>I<< wrote the Torah or even that it is My truth. The Torah is said to be what Moses wrote on My instructions. It never says I do not deceive men.
Look harder, LS, at the text cited by Hanavee Goldy. Moses says there once but two humans, one with a penis and one with a vagina. Science says your species could not have arisen from only two genomes. Even if these were perfect, no recessive lethal genes, such genomes would not survive when they met new challenges. Science says there must have been others … and so there were.
