Last night Ann Romney gave the loyal wife speech about Mitt as Dad and provider. She even asserted that her husband, the heir of a multimillionaire, began their married life in a basement apartment! Who knew? A better questions is, with Isaac pummeling New Orleans, did anyone watch Ann?
Meantime, an ABC News/Washington Post poll that found Mitt Romney’s popularity falling to 35 percent, versus 51 percent who have an unfavorable opinion of the GOP presidential nominee. Of those in the unfavorable category, 31 percent said they had “strongly” unfavorable opinions of Romney.
