Romney trails Perry in GOP presidential nomination

Washington, August 25 : Republican White House hopeful Mitt Romney had failed to make a mark during the 2008 presidential campaign, and this time too, he is grappling to secure his place as a front runner for the highest office in the US.
Romney is returning to the presidential sweepstakes with a more tightly knit team that he hopes will keep him on point.
Romney returned to the campaign trail this week, only to realize that he was no longer ahead of the pack in the race for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. A Gallup poll released this week showed Texas Governor Rick Perry with a sizable lead over Romney.
