| Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) — It was on the evening of March 8, Juche 35 (1946) that President Kim Il Sung entered a room where a film show was to begin. The President asked the film operator what kind of movie was ready for the women’s holiday. The operator answered it was a movie picturing women in their courageous struggle against enemy. The President was very pleased to hear that, saying it would be suitable for the International Women’s Day. He then recalled that women guerrillas fought bravely during the anti-Japanese armed struggle. Though he was very busy building a new country, he personally sponsored a film show and enjoyed it with women officials on the occasion of the women’s day. |
