HBO executives informed “Treme’s” producers Friday (May 13) afternoon that the New Orleans set-and-shot drama has been renewed for a third season.

I’m going to put some muscle into it.’ They laughed and said, ‘The show is great, we’re wishing more people were watching on Sunday night, but we’re renewing you for season three.'”
