A new website, sponsored by the City of Seattle, lets you opt out of PAPER junk mails! You have to go to the site and indicate which company you want to ban from your mailbox.
As a start, I recommend getting rid of phone books. To do this, after signing up for the service, you can search for the phone books using these search terms:
DEX SEATTLE
YELLOW SEATTLE
Now if I could just find a way to block my front door and door bell from the evangelists and Christian kids raising money to send their schools to the world swim team tournament.
