Burger @ Lunchbox Laboratory CLICK ME to Eat Me
Seattle has gotten burger happy.
You can get everything from ground Kobe to frozen and chewed leather. Some places that get lots of hype, e.g. the Red Mill, serve something vaguely like the cheap hamburgers of my childhood. Dicks outdoes McD’s for the best fast food version of a burger. Others .. the Tom Douglas chain esp, seem to be vying with McDonald’s for a thumbs up from Julia Child. Actually, I meant that as a compliment. Julia described the bg mac as a great culinary achievement and suggested it be renamed to sound french and expensive. But Ms. Child would surely have given Dick’s version more stars.
