Last Friday Michelle Darnell, 44, a paralegal in Kirkland who works on foreclosure cases for people who are losing their homes, filed to challenge state Rep. Cyrus Habib (D-48, Kirkland) for the state senate seat being vacated by Rodney Tom, the maverick, conservative Democrat who turned control of the Senate over to the Republicans.
Darnell’s issues are unlikely to please today’s tea party Repricans. The fan of Occupy, says, “the real issue is the concentration of wealth.” On the 0ther hand, she says she supported Ron Paul for President in 2012.
“I don’t agree with him on everything, but before him, who knew about the Federal Reserve?”
