Where “Liz Cheney” is a swear word

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is the rioter in the video below. Now he wants to be “Sen. Mo Brooks (R-AL).” But first, he has to win a primary election.

Meanwhile, Trump has endorsed his opponent, Katie Britt (“does this mean we’re not friends anymore?”). It was only last year that Donnie Trump Jr., who’s even dumber than Hunter Biden, called Britt “the Alabama Liz Cheney” (see story here).

Now, Brooks is firing back at Donnie’s dad; he said, “Let’s just admit it: Trump endorses the wrong people sometimes. He endorsed Mitt Romney, he endorsed John McCain and now he’s endorsed Katie Britt, who his own son, Don Jr. called ‘Alabama’s Liz Cheney.'”

I honestly don’t mind watching these people rip out each other’s throats. But I wish they’d leave honest people out of it.

Anyway, I guess the idea is that “Liz Cheney” is a swear word in Alabama, a state mostly known for racism and poverty. I assume that’s because Cheney is against insurrection. Back in 1860, Alabama’s political leaders were for it, and it doesn’t look like much has changed.
