2 states, 2 voter fraud prosecutions

Charles Franklin Barnes Jr., 64 (left), and Jay Richard Ketcik (right), 63, are white, male, Republican, and live in a notoriously pro-Trump Florida retirement community. Both intentionally voted multiple times in the 2020 election.

They got pretrial diversion, which means their records will be wiped clean after they perform 50 hours of community service and complete a 24-hour adult civics class with a grade of “C” or better. Details here.

Crystal Mason (below), 31, is black, female, and poor in Texas. In 2016, she didn’t know if she could vote because of a past conviction, so she asked a poll worker, who instructed her to cast a provisional ballot, which wasn’t counted.

She got 5 years in prison. Details here.
