How GOP senators define “woman”

It varies, depending on which GOP senator you ask, but none of them actually know.

Sens. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Ted Cruz (R-TX): “Someone with two X chromosones.” The problem is, some women don’t have two X chromosomes, and some men do.

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC): “My wife.” Which impelled MSNBC to ask, does this mean “all women on Earth are his wife,” or is his wife “the only woman on Earth?”

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT): “An adult female of the human species,” which is the same as saying “a woman is a woman.”

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO): “A woman is someone who can give birth to a child and has a uterus.” This disqualifies virtually all adult females of the human species over the age of 50 from being women, and turns women who’ve had hysterectomies into … something else.

Read story here, then laugh your ass off at these feckless morons. The last time someone asked me about this, I replied, “Maybe there are three genders.” I’m no biologist, and I’m not sure that’s correct either, but it’s probably closer than anything a Republican will come up with.
