In the video below, veteran Washington State Patrol Trooper Robert LaMay explains on “Fox & Friends” why he quit his job in October 2021 rather than comply with Gov. Jay Inslee’s vaccine mandate (“my family doesn’t do vaccines”). In a selfie video, clearly staged for publicity, Trooper LaMay famously signed off by saying, “Governor Inslee can kiss my ass.”
Trooper LaMay is dead, as reported by a Seattle TV station here and Huffington Post here. Covid-19 got him. While some may disagree with his position on vaccines, and his attitude toward a governor who’s trying to save lives, this is a terrible tragedy both for him and his family; and his wife and kids need the public’s sympathy and understanding at this sorrowful time.
