FLORIDA LAW ENFORCEMENT IS RIDDLED WITH KLANSMEN AND BIKERS
A KKK member in Florida was an FBI informant. He attended meetings, participated in cross burnings, and “even helped plan the murder of a Black man.”
He exposed Klan members “working as law enforcement officers in Florida at city, county and state levels.”
It’s more prevalent than police agencies admit, he says. He came across literally “dozens of police officers, prison guards, sheriff deputies and other law enforcement officers who were involved with the Klan and outlaw motorcycle clubs.”
The FBI has found that white supremacist groups engage in “strategic efforts to infiltrate and recruit from” law enforcement and some cops volunteer “professional resources to white supremacist causes.” Story here.
