“Eric Trump is booked as keynote speaker next month at a conference organized by two major purveyors of vaccine disinformation that will feature leading personalities in the anti-vaccine and QAnon conspiracy theory movements,” Huffington Post reported on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 (read story here).
The event in Nashville next month is billed as a “Truth About Cancer Live” convention. “I am not [going] there to talk about vaccines,” he told the Daily Beast (see their story here). He says he’ll talk about his father’s “accomplishments” as president, and disputed that it’s an “anti-vaccine” event.
But the sponsors have made millions selling anti-vaccine videos and “alternative” cancer cures, and an audience filled with people who embrace quack medicines and vaccine conspiracy theories probably don’t need to be persuaded that Trump is better than sliced bread and duct tape put together.
By the way, I don’t agree with that.
