They held a birthday party for Lawrence Brooks in New Orleans on Sunday. He just turned 112.
Brooks served with the 91st Engineer Regiment (details here) in New Guinea and the Phillippines from 1940 to 1945.
He’s America’s oldest living World War 2 veteran.
