“After viewers noted that the stage at the CPAC conference was shaped like a Nazi symbol, the organizer of the conservative political conference said any resemblance was unintentional.” (See story here.) Therefore, chalk it up to gross incompetence.
If you want to see swastikas then you can see them. If you consider the origin of the symbol then maybe CPAC was going for good luck.
What does “origin” have to do with it? If a Jewish person sees a swastika, he’s supposed to think of Hindus?
