Who the newspapers endorse

Yes, someone tracks that information (here, with links to the endorsement editorials, should anyone out there actually want to read them).

Two major newspapers that don’t endorse presidential candidates are the Wall Street Journal and Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Several smaller papers don’t, either.

The McClatchy chain of 29 papers (including the Bellingham Herald), which went bankrupt and was acquired by a hedge fund this year, is skipping endorsements in this election cycle.

Several major papers haven’t made endorsements; these include the Denver Post, New York Daily News, Arizona Republic, and Dallas Morning News.

Among those that have, most endorsed Biden. Trump is endorsed by the New York Post and Boston Herald, and newspapers in Las Vegas, Little Rock, Spokane, and Colorado Springs.
