Pence flouted the debate rules

The rules of the vice presidential debate were clear. Did Mike Pence not understand them?

He overtalked Harris and the moderator.

He went over his time.

He wouldn’t stay on topic.

He didn’t answer questions he was asked.

He interrupted Harris.

He appropriated time that belonged to Harris.

And he wasn’t alone in ignoring the rules. His wife did, too (story here).

And the Commission on Presidential Debates is opaque. Has 6 corporate sponsors whose identity is unknown. (Deep state?) Will not allow third party candidates.

Bring back the battle axes of the League of Women Voters. They refused to join in this travesty of the two major parties.

Ensley and Culp were asked tougher questions in the Washington State Gov debates than any of the questions asked so far in the two debates. 10 minutes on some of the questions in tonight’s debates just was not enough time. Some really required at least 15 minutes for each candidate. And frankly the battle axes of the LWV would hav had the audacity of asking exactly how Biden would just do away with the tax cuts all by his lonesome, seems that requires some act of Congress.
And asking questions about Corvid about what the president and Federal government can do in a pandemic and what the states can do would seem pertinent.
How about a question on Julian Assaunge extradition trial. Seems these moderators are supposed to be journalists. Should they not be concerned about this serious threat to the first amendment and the press?

What should we say about a commenter who habitually misspells the name of his own state’s governor, misspells the disease ravaging our country, and stereotypes women with terms like “battleaxes”? Probably better to say nothing. It speaks for itself. The disrespect is manifest.
