GOP dirty tricksters may get jail time for vote suppression robocalls

This article contains news and liberal commentary.

Michigan has filed felony charges against two of the GOP’s nastiest dirty tricksters, Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, for voter intimidation and computer crimes related to 85,000 robocalls threatening “arrest, debt collection and forced vaccination” for voting by mail. Read story here.

Wohl and Burkman are professional liars with long histories of staging hoaxes and smearing Democrats and Trump opponents. For example, they circulated false allegations of sexual misconduct against Robert Mueller and Pete Buttigieg. They’re banned from most social media platforms.

They could get up to 7 years in prison for the Michigan charges, and Wohl also has felony charges pending against him in California for securities violations. Would it be nice — and great for our democracy — if they were removed from circulation for a while?

These guys are not Russian. Thought only Russians could affect American politics. Where is the Russian is he or she behind the curtain?
