“Half a million US children have been diagnosed with Covid-19,” according to physician and hospital groups, CNN reported on September 8, 2020. An American Academy of Pediatrics news release called the latest case figures “a chilling reminder of why we need to take this virus seriously,” adding, “the spread among children reflects what is happening in the broader communities.” Read story here. With the flu we could predict 513 deaths. There is no reason to keep kids out of school based on Corvid. Or can we never hold school again because we know several hundred school age children will die of flu this flu season. We might have zero deaths out of this half million children to corvid.
