Bad behavior

Stress brings out the worst in some people. And maybe some people simply have been cooped up in their homes too long.

In California, a grocery store customer wore a KKK hood. (Read story here.)

In Michigan, a Dollar Tree customer who was told to wear a mask by an employee wiped his face on the employee’s shirt. (Read story here.)

In Texas, a park ranger who tried to enforce social distancing was pushed into a lake. (Read story here.)

You’ve probably heard about the store security guard who was shot to death after telling a customer to wear a mask. (Read story here.)

Or are these examples where a well meaning policy is just wrong? These being the expected or unintended consequences of the policy and not enough thought went into the policy. We have gone from where masks in public even on Halloween are barely tolerated and likely to get the attention of Officer Bob to required in some states.
Awful lot of what some would call NAZI behavior on the part of public officials and security guards, and officials.

You’re excusing this behavior by calling public officials Nazis for trying to protect the public? Way to go, Mark.

Someone came up with a fitting term for these badly-behaving people: “Pandemic jerks.”
