Amazon HQ2 Locates in Kennewick .. with wine!

Amazon plans a job fair this  May 12 to hire its first 100 full-time staff for the new HQ2 from our local workers!

(Tri-City Herald) The world, especially Seattle’s world, was astonished when Mr. Bezos announced that Amazon would open its new wpr;d wide
headquaters 2,” in Kennewick, WA.   The new facility id at  7011 W Canal Drive, in the former location of Wok Wok restaurant, famed for its dumplings.  The restaurant is moving into the HQ where only Amazon employees will be able to eat.

Associates in the HQ  may communicate with the public by phone, email, chat or in Echo devices that will be available to the public in outside access sites including a new Amazon GO grocery store!

Mr. Bezos himself came to the opening and explained that the choice was the result of exhaustive research based on many things, including the local environment with its world class wineries and excellent technologists from nearby Hanford Nuclear center.  Hanford is also now in negotiations to become part of Mr. Bezos new subdivision of his space company, Blue Horizons, where the plan is to develop a nuclear rocket able to travel to and from Amazon’s planned moon base with out refueling. 

Separately from the corporate acquisition, Mr. Bezos has also decided to purchase the Bookwater winery which will now also serve as his country home.

J. Bookwalter Winery will remain open to the public who will be able taste a new line of wines called vin d’Alexa.
