Of course, it was a swamp before the fever. (Remember “Drain the swamp”? Before he began charging the Secret Service agents who protect him $650 a night to stay there?)
But, Trump claims he tested negative for Covid-19. “Honest,” he said, “I’m no Typhoid Mary!” You’ve got his word on it.
But Trumpism is still a fever swamp.
