NETFLIX and Martin Scorsese announce a remake of “The Godfather”

After his great success using CGI to show his actors at different ages in The Irishman, Martin Scorsese is beginning production of The Godfather, Book Two.

Book Two uses CGI to combine performances by current figures with classical acting from the original Godfather.  In this scene, William Barr plays the consigliere advising Marlon Brando on how to avoid any legal effort to undermine the role of the family.

Other cast members include Robert DeNiro playing a corrupt politician who becomes President of the United States and Madonna playing Bogart’s young wife.
