Trump Admin Releases Satellite Photos It Says Proves Iran Attacked Saudi Oil Field

Somebody needs to explain to Mr. Pompeo that drones are not missiles. Like any plane, they can fly, turn, turn again and dive.
The Trump administration seems to be channeling Colin Powell’s infamous presentation of evidence that Iraq had an A-bomb.
Credibility matters and we do not have any, anymore.
Pompeo released satellite photographs that he claims prove Iran was behind the attack on a Saudi oil field. The claim by America’ s favorite Secretary of State was that the strikes originated from the north or northwest … Yemen is south of Saudi Arabia. Trouble is the attack was by drone. The New York Times reported that some of the strikes in the images appeared to have come from the west. A drone does not fly straight lines.
The Iranian-backed Houthi militia, which operates in Yemen, has already shown that it has drones that can fly this distance. Who built the drones? Probably Iran, but who builds the planes and missiles the Saudis use?
Making a fool of yourself before the world is a stupid premise to going to war especially when the target of these strikes was the regime of the murdering prince, Muhamud bin Salman. More likely than not, Iran supplied the drones and Houthi rebels, incensed at the murderous attacks from US armed Saudis, retaliated.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Iran was behind what he called “an unprecedented attack on the world’s energy supply” and asserted that there was “no evidence the attacks came from Yemen.” Yeh sure!
Iran is involved in a proxy war with Saudi Arabia. The proxy war threatens oil, and since Iran cannot control the proxy forces accepting pts help is a legitimate target. We are obligated to assist Saudi Arabia and it may well be in the national interest. Well by previous policy it is vital to US interests going back to Roosevelt. Once the house of Saud puts in a formal request for help we are all in whether the rebels, Iran or both or we loose credibility.
People will take you more seriously if you learn the difference between “then” and “than.” That’s one of several small and large issues, but it’s a start.
