Barr laid down ground rules that Mueller couldn’t find Trump guilty, then when Mueller didn’t find Trump guilty, Barr declared that Mueller “cleared” Trump. That, of course, was a lie. Now Barr is refusing to testify before House committees. Anyone out there want to argue that Barr isn’t prostituting himself for Trump? Barr is a man without honor. If he had a shred of decency he would resign.
Barr is actually doing his actually job as attorney general of the United States. The guy the special prosecutor actually works for. Mueller had a free hand for two years, and did not find collusion with the Russians. The Democrats wanted red meat and thought they would get a loincloth over as well. They did not get what they wanted.
Barr under the law could have been Machiavellian and told Mueller it would be only an oral meeting with the AG. Done a four page summary and that could have been all, and that would have met the Federal law. No report to haggle over at all. Also AG Barr is the kind of guy who will tell Senator Harris to go suck it and go ahead and try to impeach and we will see if the House does so, but good luck with the Senate. Meanwhile I am the AG and you are a Senator.
Also it is odd House members cannot grill me as Senator Harris is. The fire was warm and I was not a tasty Barbie on the grill.
Any prosecutor who makes a decision not to charge without even looking at the evidence isn’t doing his job. That would get him fired from any D.A. office in America.
